2010 NESI Registration Information

Registration for the 2010 Northeast Squeeze-In is open for business and it's time to sign up! The 2010 Squeeze-In will once again be held at Bucksteep Manor in Washington, Massachusetts but later than usual: October 15, 16, and 17.

Campers and cabin folk should be sure to prepare for cooler weather. We hope to return to our usual mid-September date in 2011.

Please download and printout the 2010 Info & Registration flyer (in PDF format)

We regret that, as yet, we are unable to accept payment by credit card. So, for 2010 at least, you must mail us a check or money order, along with your completed registration form. Accommodations are assigned on a first-come basis. We expect that the later date will lead more people to request rooms in the Lodge, Manor, and Annex. If you don’t want to camp or stay in a cabin, don’t delay.

As was announced at the end of last year’s event, The Button Box is no longer the organizing force behind the Squeeze-In, and it has been taken up by a small group of volunteers.
There are no fundamental changes from years past. We’ll have a sing on Friday night, concert and contra dance on Saturday night, good food, lots of do-it-ourselves workshops, and non-stop squeezing till we drop!  More on what NESI is like here, with a FAQ here

One change though: we've had a meeting with Bucksteep management and worked out an alcohol consumption policy.  Bucksteep has several “licensed” areas in which we cannot consume beer, wine, etc. that was not bought from them. Those areas are the first floor of the manor, the barn, and any tented area that they provide. Please plan to comply with this policy. More information here

Our thanks go out to the late Rich Morse and to all at The Button Box for getting this wonderful event started in the first place, for keeping it going for so many years, and for giving us so much help with the transition as they hand it off to our committee of volunteers.

We encourage you to make multiple copies of the flyer and post or distribute them at friendly venues, such as folk festivals, contra dances, and the like.
