Part of our recent discussion with the Bucksteep management involved working with them on:
Their liquor license requires that only alcohol purchased directly from Bucksteep may be consumed in the following areas:
This applies to all times of the day, including meals, concert, dance, and pub sing (if it's in the dining room or one of the areas above).
You are welcome to bring your own libations for personal use during the weekend, but they cannot be consumed in those areas, even when the bar is not open. You can drink your own alcohol:
The Bucksteep management and catering has been disturbed by the bottles left around Saturday morning and Sunday after we vacate. At the end of the night, please take your bottles back to your room and away with you when you leave.
The good news
In order to make this situation somewhat less burdensome, we are negotiating with Bucksteep in the hope of being able to offer less-expensive keg beer at the bar, as we are aware that high drink prices have been a major reason that people have historically brought their own alcohol into the spaces in which it is prohibited.
Please cooperate with this requirement; the organizers of this event do not want to become the Drink Police.
